We were delighted that so many of you were able to join the virtual ARGO Symposium this month. We had approximately 234 register for the symposium from 68 institutions. Isaac and I want to thank all who participated and made it such a success. A particular thank you the faculty who presented. Each session was excellent and contributed to an overall outstanding symposium.
We thank you for your time and commitment to furthering the ARGO agenda to address global cancer disparities in Nigeria and beyond. We would particularly like to thank Drs. Abdul Razzak Lawal, Ademoloa Adeyeye and Olayide Agodirin, our 2019 Pilot grant awardees, who were able to share updates on their studies.
For those of you who may have missed the program and/or would like to review some of the sessions, you can download the program from the ARGO website and as well, watch the video recordings of most of the sessions. Please go to: https://argoresearch.org/2021conferencevideos/ While the globe is still struggling with the COVID 19 Pandemic, we are grateful that we are able to virtually continue our work.
We look forward to a time when we can see each other again and hold our seminars in person; however, until that time we will continue to carry on the mission and will be updating you with plans for upcoming virtual seminars soon.
