The African Research Group for Oncology (ARGO)

ARGO is a National Cancer Institute recognized consortium in Africa that currently includes Nigerian hospitals and two US Centers, MSK and Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

MISSION: Through collaborative research ARGO strives to generate data for regional evidence-based management recommendations, explore prevention and early detection strategies, increase access to cancer care and improve cancer care training in rural and under-served communities in low-and middle-income countries.  It does this through laboratory and clinical research, and the training of scientists, physicians and other healthcare workers.
